Nica HOPE opened its doors to the community of the Managua City trash dump in February of 2008, receiving a flood of students seeking to expand their minds, skills, and opportunities for the future.  With children working in the trash to make little more than $2 a day, Nica HOPE programs aim to provide education and job opportunities apart from the trash for these youth.

Since February, it has been a whirlwind of activity at Nica HOPE, putting all our resources toward giving these youth the greatest opportunity possible to build a future for themselves apart from the trash.
